The Goodyear Engineered Products Mine Spray yellow nitrile rubber spray hose is suitable for use in a variety of mining applications and consists of an RMA Class B (medium oil resistance) nitrile synthetic rubber tube for resistance to oil and aromatics; and an RMA Class B yellow Chemivic (Buna-N-vinyl) cover that meets Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Schedule 26, Section 18.65 flame test requirements and resists oil, abrasion, and ozone. Both components experience a maximum volume increase of +65% and retain a minimum of 50% of their tensile strength after exposure to oil. This hose is reinforced with a single braid of steel wire for the strength necessary to reach its maximum working pressure of 1,000 pounds per square inch (psi). It can withstand temperatures ranging from 0 to 200 degrees F (-18 to +93 degrees C), and can be used with a variety of coupling options (not included). This hose is suitable for underground water spray service in dust control applications, and with connections on mechanical mining machines.
